Maths would be a good choice. and check out with the uni she wants to attend over doing A level law - some uni's prefer their degree students not to do A level law beforehand!!
another good subject would be business studies, so she knows a little more about how solicitors firms or how self-employed barristers may operate as a business. also useful if she would like to be a partner in her early years!
good luck to her what ever she decides.. x
PS. also remember that it is her decision, if you convince her into doing one she doesn't really want to do then she may not perform well or even drop out! even if she wants to do something totally unrelated let her, it's her life! and will still show her commitment to study.

I wanted to be a lawyer when I was 18, although I changed my mind in the end. Anyway, the answer is history! Law courses absolutely LOVE students who have history A-levels, because it's a proper subject that requires analytical thinking, plus the law involves a great deal of knowledge of history and the development of government so it is a really, really good start!
I don't mean to sound disparaging but universities are starting to crack down on so-called 'soft' subjects, and unless she actually does a pyschology degree, she may find them asking her why she chose to take it pyschology over a more academic subject. Just a gentle warning.

I am uncertain about this question, although I am thinking you want to know what to do when or if your daughter want to become a lawyer, an english teacher, or a psychologist. Each one of these careers requires at least a bachelor degree. TO be a lawyer, one typically has to go to law school thereafter. For a psychologist, it takes about another three years after the bachelor degree. For an english teacher, you also have to obtain a teaching certificate, unless you work at the college level, whereas many require a masters degree. You may want to check out the local colleges and ones in your State due to the lower tuition that is offered. If she goes somewhere out of the State you live in, than the tuition is higher. You need to check into the fianancial aid possibilites, scholarships, student loans, granst, and interships (and there are others). I hope that this helps you.

It doesn't matter, my younger brother, did IT, Sports, Business and Design and he got offer from all the Universities he applied for. He does study Law. So if she is studying law at A-level she will find the first year of Uni quite easy.

Latin might be a very useful A Level, especially if she wishes to become a barrister. Though she'll be lucky to find Latin as a school option these days!

I don't think it would really matter. Mathematics would be one of the best despite it not being any part of what she would be doing professionally, but it shows a rounded education.
