If you had a boy/girlfriend that you thought could be the "one" and your friends didn't like him/her, what would you do? Would you ditch the friends or the mate?

I'd talk it out with my friends.
it's their problem, not mine.
my friends don't dictate my relationships any more than I dictate theirs.

Usually if your friends don't like your Mr. right there's a reason for it. If these are friends who have stood by you through the best and worst maybe you should give there opinion some consideration. If your talking friends who are only around occasionally and you believe this man is the one, keep at it. The chance to love the one only comes around once in a blue moon.

Take an objective look at what your friends see in him. Is there something you're not catching because you're blinded with love?
Listen to what your friends say and weigh it against what you know. It may be that they are wrong, but they may have some insight you can't see. This is a situation that deserves a lot of time and contemplation.

try to talk to both your friends and your mate one on one then bring them together in a group and have them talk to one another. get to the source of their problem with your mate. and explain to both parties that if they truly love you they wont stand in the way of your happiness. they dont neccesairly have to like each other but they should at least be civil towards one another.
