Have you tried to check whether your songs are in .wma format? Sometimes if you miss putting a dot before wma, it'll not work and if your songs have DRM protection, it'll definitely not work for your player. You must try to download some software to convert .wma songs into .mp3 files and I think you shd be able to play then.

WMA files have embedded Digital Rights Management software in them to keep people who shouldn't have the files from using them. WMA is a DRM format, like AAC and MP4 is.

I had the same problem with mine. I ended up just downloading a program to change the files from wma to mp3.

Are these DOWNLOADED tracks with DRM protection? Quite a few low cost players won't handle DRM protected files. There are allegedly work-arounds but it's illegal to break the Digital Rights Managment. Probably if you rip one of your CDs into WMA format it will work
