I agree On top of that it teaches them that shopping for slutty clothes is the most important thing in life.

As a parent I don't care for them. I don't like the name, for obvious reasons, nor do I really like the clothes they come in. My daughter, who is now 7, liked them for a while. She had a few of the dolls, but never really cared about the movies. I don't think it had a bad influence on her, because she understood it was just a toy, not a role model. How can you look up to plastic? Anyway, I think that as long as there is no personality change, for the worse, they are fine. I will admit being glad when she was ready to get rid of them though. However, I also find Barney terribly annoying.

Extremely bad influence. A Bratz Poster I saw in my sister's room said 'It's not how you play, It's how hot you look on the field.' What kind of thing is that to put into a child's head???

BRATZ ARE A HORRIBLE INFLUENCE ON KIDS IF U BUY THEM ONE THEY THINK "EVERYBODY LOVES BRATZ MAYBE THEY WILL LOVE ME IF I DRESS LIKE ONE" yes and now alot of young children are not happy with there weight it is very very very disturbing.

I played with them and I came out great. Never once did I actually want to be like them lol I didn t even know better or care. It s just about how you teach YOUR kids. My mom was strict and taught me right and let me have the dolls. I m 15 and barely starting to accept dating. I mean if you teach kids their values and self worth you shouldn t have a problem...

LoL! I like ur comment about bratz - i agree with u about toys, fashion, music & even school is over-rated for kids! My cousins who r age ranging from 7-12 r talking about sex, mimi skirts, new boyfriends, money, drugs, etc...also they have self esteem issues already about their weight wtf??
It's really sad.

I agree cuz they be having there belly buttons showing, short skirts, and high high heels.
