WIFE/HUSBAND

A spouse is your better half. Yes, that is a silly saying, but it's true. Your spouse IS your better half. In a good marriage, one person plus another totals up to more than double either partner. Your spouse is what makes you complete, and is the one person on earth that is always on your side. I'm speaking of spouses that are actually spouses, not just legally married. Sadly, many of us go through life without having, or even deserving a spouse, because we aren't spouses themselves; even though we may be married for decades.

If you're a man, spouse is your wife - the woman that you married. If you're a woman, spouse is your husband - the man you married.

I've been married to my spouse for 16.5 years. He is the love of my life, and our love has grown deeper over time. There are things about him that I would never have learned had he not become my spouse.
