There is NO other way to repair a tear. Surgery is the way to fix it. Think of it as ripping your shirt............short of sewing it or gluing the rip there is no way to fix it. Same applied to the knee expect the tear in inside his knee so that means they will go in orthoscopically and repair it.

First, a torn ACL and then a cartilage/menicus tear. i ultimately had to have surgical procedure for both injuries. i might want to represent that you flow to an orthopedic health practitioner and get his/her suggestion, and likewise have an MRI done on your knee. in a good number of cases the torn cartilage must be bumped off and smoothed out. Your severe exercising consultation may nicely be doing extra damage than solid, so also ask your well-being care specialist how a lot and what kind of workouts try to be doing. many people flow to a experienced actual therapist after surgical procedure. Squatting is between the worst belongings you may do for your knees.

However, it sounds like your brother has a larger tear, and yes, the only way to fix a large tear is surgery.
