I live in the salamanca-Olean area and really need help this year for christmas with my 13 and 11 Year old kids and i am not sure who to turn to--I am a single mom with a job but only basicly make enough to pay the bills but would love to be able to give my girls a beautiful christmas!!!

The most beautiful gift you can give your children is yourself. I know presents are important to them. For financial help I would seek a church, the Salvation Army. I know some stores in my area put up Christmas trees with wishes on them for children. A customer takes the wish and buys the gift. Sometimes schools send home lists of needy families. Check these things out before it's too late.

mkae a good dinner and maybe a christmas tree or some lights or u can just get a little angel from them both or a big angel to put like in the living or on a table and spend most of the day with them maybe buy them a few new clothes

You can have a beautiful Christmas without material items. Play music and make a nice meal. You can give love without presents.

I think your children are old enough to understand that you cant afford to give them alot for Christmas. Do you have any family that could help you out?

Try toys for tots-call the salvation army or locall marinr recruiting station-they can help you out..Good luck

home made gifts are the best ......do the candle thing.......and make the decorations as a team effort.....and lots of cookies.....the time is to enjoy each other and be thankful for the light from heaven......not to spend money.
