I have been with this guy for 5 years. We have a daughter of 3. He has been promising to help me go to school for years and nothin has happen yet. I am sick of this he gets on my nerves and does whatever he wants when he wants it. When I want to do sonething it has to be on his time and terms. Should i take my daughter and leave? I am sick of promises!!!

Uuh, yes, leave him. He is using control to keep you down and stay with him. It will only get worse as the years go on.

It's time to cut your losses and leave. If someone can't be trusted to keep their promises, then there is no point in being with them. Especially when those promises are as important as going to school. Stay with this guy and you will never go anywhere in life but exactly where he wants you to be -- under his thumb.

what are you waiting for? instead of sitting here at your computer waiting for answers you should be packing. this guy does not follow through on his promises about helping you go back to school because he wants you to depend on him,for everything. its kind of a control thing. are you still sitting here ? shouldn't you be packing?? good luck! get your butt back to school and learn to stand on your own two feet.

Yes it sounds like its time to move on. there is nothing worse than a man who cant keep his word. but y dont you go to comunity college and get your education on your own. it sounds like you are just using him as an exuse not to do anything.
