My fiance has very tight skin at the tip of his penis and can't pull his foreskin back no matter how hard he tries. It hurts him during sex and when he ejaculates it doesn't shoot it just dribbles out. He went to see the doctor about it and was given an appointment at the hospital but he chickened out and didn't go. Has any of you guys had it done? i need to convince him to go, it would help if you could share your experiences. Serious answers please, no nasty ones. Thanx.

You have phimosis, a medical malfunction of the penis.

To solve this problem without any recurrence a circumcision is necessary. Don't be afraid. It is a quick procedure. Under general anesthesia or a local pain killer, you will feel no pain. Some discomfort for a few days afterward is common although many have none at all. Infections are rare. Find a skilled urologist. Ask how many he has done and with what results. Tell him whether you want it high and tight, loose with a bit more foreskin left, etc. It is done usually as an outpatient. Healing within 2 or 3 weeks.
Return to work after a few days or week.

I was circumcised as an infant. I can't thank my parents enough. I have a lot of friends who have been circumcised as an adult and they all are very positive about it.

If you are to have a normal sex life and have no unnecessary pain and if you are to avoid more problems such as under the foreskin infection, buck up and get circumcised. It is no big deal to have it done. Don't put it off.

Go for it. You have a caring fiancée. Don't lose her over this.

Either his frenulum is tight or the opening of his foreskin is too tight/narrow. If it's because his frenulum is too tight he should get that checked out by the doctor. There is usually a small cut or something that can be done to free it up and it's very simple.

If it's because the opening of his foreskin is too tight/narrow, there are things he can try before needing to go to the doctor. He could first try stretching exercises. Take two fingers and stretch the opening of the foreskin as far as it'll go without pain (like increasing its radius) by hooking a finger on either side. It's a little hard to describe and may take a few tries. Once he gets the hang of it, he should do it for a few minutes each day for a few weeks to a month. Eventually it should be loose enough to allow him to pull it back without any pain.

If this doesn't work after a month, he should definitely see a doctor. There are prescription creams that'll help when combined with the exercises. This combination usually resolves the problem in the vast majority of men who suffer from this condition, called phimosis. Now, if the creams don't work, there are surgical options (and not all of them being a form of circumcision, see links).

Usually a foreskin can be stretched using daily exercises - you insert two fingers either side, pull out as far as you can comfortablly, hold then relax. Repeat 20 times. Do this every day for about a month and it will begin to stretch out.

You can also get a small operation (NOT a circumcision) that will cut one side of the foreskin to allow it to retract.

It is VERY unusual for an adult to need a complete circumcision to cure this problem. If the urologist insists circumcision is the only option, he should see another specialist.

Remember that a complete circumcision removes the nerve endings on the foreskin, reducing sensitivity; and that the exposed glans (head of the penis) then develops a layer of protective keratin, further reducing sensitivity. Many men who are circumcised as an adult have subsequent difficulty reaching a climax during intercourse, so it should be avoided if possible.

This can lead to many other health problems since he is unable
to roll back the foreskin he not able to clean the head of his penis
or the shaft properly this can cause skin infections and many other nasty bacterial growth problems plus since with sex it is painful I do not know why has not had it done. I was circumsized as a baby and so I'm not sure how painful it would be but when placed with multiple health issues list them out for him realize as well for yourself if you ever give him head just
think he has never been able to completely wash gross?. Get his Dr. to speak to him about the aspects around a tight foreskin and the complications of that versus a circumcision this may help him go. Let him know he may be sore for awhile usually 2-4 weeks but in the end he will be thankful he had it done. You could also give him an ultimatum get it done until you do no more BJ's

I think he should be circumcised. He has a medical issue that prevents him from enjoying sex and living life. This is one of the few times when it would be easier to just get circumcised.

It sounds as though your fiance may suffer from "Phimosis." Phimosis is a medical condition in which the foreskin of the penis of an uncircumcised male cannot be fully retracted. Circumcision is the traditional surgical solution for pathological phimosis, and is effective. Serious complications from circumcision are very rare, but minor complication rates (e.g., having to perform a second procedure or meatotomy to revise the first or to re-open the urethra) have been reported in about 0.2-0.6% in most reported series. Encourage him to have the procedure; it will make you both happy.

Well I used to have the reverse problem. My foreskin was too damn LOOSE and would NEVER stay back during masturbation or sex. Also, I used to turn green with envy when I saw other guys with cut penises - how nice they looked - and I got so jealous!!!! I finally got my courage up and got it circumcised.

I had it done in outpatient MD surgical suite and numbness lasted well beyond midnight. *I had no pain. for 3-4 weeks had much swelling and soreness but no real pain. sutures self - absorbed after 3 weeks & my new penis looked so handsome, neat, modern & sleek.

No more smell of tuna fish from under the foreskin. No more urine dribbling into it.

very low-maintenance. Easy to keep clean and dry & odor-free.

Erections got harder, more taut & firm. orgasm got stronger, more intense.

I'm only sorry I waited till my thirties. I couldn't enjoy it when I really needed it. but I still LOVE my new clipped look. I think it's gorgeous. Very modern & sleek & streamlined to behold. And, it makes my penis head appear much more defined & emphatic, that's a real plus.!!! You know, aesthetics is also part of the whole circumcision mindset.

Your BF should really get it done. he's enjoy his penis so much more. Hope I helped in some way.

Circumcision is almost never necessary to treat the situation you describe. He should see a doctor to find out what his alternatives are. Chopping the foreskin off should be an absolute last resort, and if a doctor suggests it, your fiance should get a second opinion.

Circumcision is a normal and simple procedure, and the complicatition risk are very low, the post surgery process is very easy, so tell him that he must go to the doctor at once...
