do you have to already have them on ur buddy list..
or can u meet any one new and start chatting while playing??

You can talk to anybody when your playing with them in a game or in the postgame lobby.

But if you want to send them invites or join their party then they have to be on your friends list or in your clan.

You can have 100 people on your friends list and in your clan.
