Police departments bought Taser Guns Not Understanding that If You Shock Someone Too Many Times, THEY CAN DIE.because the electrical currents of the body become distorted. Many people have been killed by tasers. The Taser company owner to make sales said he would taser his own kids.

Crazy Police use tasers on children as young as six years old at elementary schools.

Tasering an "unruly" person ONCE is supposed to the be "correct effective" way, but police are completely untrained and overzealous.

No one should be tasered for simply walking out of a building.

A horror video that wouldn't look out of place in Maoist China or Nazi Germany. Student shocked, tortured unnecessarily by police for not showing ID.

This kid was handcuffed. Anyone who feels it's right to taser him not only once, but a life threatening several times is a pathetic fascist.

i think you are correct and it is getting to that point, the police in my opinion have way to much leeway!! the other day, i was in a car with my friend who was speeding, she got pulled over and the officer wanted my ID also!!! why, i was not driving the car, i did not break the law at all, yet if i don't turn over my ID i can go to jail for failure to provide ID. this is terrible and i feel it is not right.

I watched that video and I have to say I agree 100% with the police. This person was high risk for being a terrorist (in other words, they SHOULD have asked him for ID). He was VIOLENT. He refused to cooperate (this is a crime....a pretty serious one). He incited a riot which started to take place as guys with more balls than brains started getting in policemen's faces. This could easily have resulted in someone being shot. The police acted completely appropriately in attempting to get compliance from the criminal as quickly as possible.

Further, this guy was play acting for the cameras. They used the taser on the low (non-stun) setting. Although this hurts, it isn't something that would cause a full grown man to cry out (and he certainly had no problem continuing to be violent and noncompliant after it was used on him repeatedly). Tasers do NOT cause permanent harm, especially on low settings and there is NO risk of death (this is a lie made by people who want to prevent police from doing their jobs). This is actually a low force alternative. Before taser, this person would have been hit repeatedly with a nightstick in this situation. He probably would be in the hospital right now. Instead, he had zero injury and 5 minutes after the incident, he felt nothing.

Shame on you for distorting this situation the way you have.

How would YOU handle a person that refused to identify themselves to you (the police) and was violating the law and refused to stop?

Asking politely did not work. Now would you feel about the police if they had let the unknown person continue to trespass and he raped you? Would your opinion have remained the same?

Tasers are not torture. The individual merely had to comply and leave the building as he was REPEATEDLY requested to do.

It was a setup stunt.

I have been tasered and stun gunned several times in training and by accident. It is uncomfortable, but WAY better than a billy club, pepper spray, or a gun shot!

Remember, the police did not write the law/rule. Their job is to enforce the law/rule. That is what YOU pay them to do.

The Supreme Court has approved tasers/stun guns as means of dealing with those who resist arrest.

Are you smarter than the Chief Justices?

Best advice is "get your facts straight." No one was tasered for simply walking out of a building. The person was tasered for failure to comply with lawful instructions.

This is a very good question.

These days, since the Nazi Bush regime, authorized the so-called "Patriot Act" the police are free to do anything their sadistic hearts desire.

Any cop that is cowardice enough to use a taser on a man for simply not showing his I.D. ought to be immediately fired, sent to prison for life, and furthermore should be castrated because he is not a man anyway.

That way he can't procreate more coward sons.

He has to use weopons to control the masses.

To Hell with Naziism, Fascists and skinheads!

Scum of the Earth!

earlier you get your liberal hackles up contained in the air and commence calling those slimebags on the ACLU you would want to get a touch extra suggestion. the authorities has contracts with many city, county, state, and private centers to living house federal inmates. So, the actual shown actuality that he's not listed as being in BOP custody does not propose that he's not danger-free and guard in another facility. also, i'm fantastically constructive that any one whose agency that's alongside with family individuals and close friends understand precisely the position he's and how he's doing.

most universities have a policy of having your student i.d. handy and ready to be shown at any time. it's not like they asked him for and i.d. he said no and they tazed him. he refused to leave the building and was tazed. will people never be happy? i think tazers are a wonderful alternative to...oh bullets!
i have a tazer and i hope i never have to use it, but i wouldn't think twice about it. i guess you think pepper spray would be uncalled for as well? sorry. i think it is justified.
