I went through the same thing. First of all you do not need to worry too much about your baby not getting nutrients. He/she takes everything it needs from your body.
Try taking your prenatal vitamin before you go to sleep so you don't get nausiated from it.
If you are having trouble sleeping because you are nausiated I suggest half a unisom tablet along with vitamin B-6. That is the only thing that worked for me.
If bread and crackers aren't working for you then listen to your body because only you know what will work for you. Try to avoid chocolate and acidic stuff like tomatoes and orange juice because that might give you reflux and make you more nausiated.
Get a lot of fresh air.
Drink a lot of liquid. If water is repulsive (and it was for me) frozen slushy Gatorade is great.
Hope that helps. Just remember that this too shall pass.

Have you tried ginger biscuits? also dry toast is good for sickness, i wouldnt worry about it too much, when i was pregnant with my second child i didnt eat very well until i was about 5 months gone. I would suggest eating very small amounts throughout the day, up to six small meals. You could have cereal in the morn, with small pieces of fruit with it, a small sandwhich in the afternoon, soup at dinner and a youghurt and maybe toast at night. But if you are really worried you should go and speak to your doctor who will be glad to advise you, remember you wont feel like that all the way through your pregnancy, and after you get by 5 months you will wish you could stop eating!! good luck for the future

i was the same way, i was sick for 6 months straight with my first child. you don't have to worry so much about the baby cuz they are like parasites, the baby will get the nutrients it needs, you are the one that is not getting nutrients!! what i did was i tried keeping saltines by my bed in the morning and before i got up i would eat a couple. i did the same thing throughout the day. you might need to check with your doctor cuz their is a disorder and i can't think of the name right now that some women get, cuz my friend had it and they had to put her in the hospital with IV's and things to keep her from dehydrating. be careful and stay in contact with your doctor.

I threw up 3-10 times a day from week 4 to week 31 when I delievered with my twins. My best suggestion is to just eat very small amounts and experiment. The one thing I could keep down for some odd reason is salad from long john silvers! LOL and the dr said salad is usual something that makes you throw up! They gave me Reglan (which is NOT an antinausea it just helps you digest your food a bit faster) and I found out I was allergic to it, and then threw up very thick nasty food. It was gross. I am also allergic to phenegren but got some Zofran samples about 2 or 3 weeks before my girls were born and they cut the throwing up down to about half.
So just try diffrent foods, my doctor said even if its junk food its better than no food

ok, have a piece of toast, crackers or bread or something solid to absorb the acid in your stomach, then have a protein shake. Breathe deeply! breathing helps you with the nausea, I know exactly how you feel, I am 28w pregnant and still having all day sickness! but having a piece of toast first thing in the morning helps a lot, it settles my stomach. Right after I drink my protein shake I get really nauseous, I guess it is the taste of the milk so what I do is I drink water and that helps a lot! I also carry my tums with me everywhere that helps too. I usually do my groceries when I am hungry, that way I get things that i know I will eat, I do it myself and I picked all the food myself so maybe you should do that too.

make sure you take your prenatal vitamins... as long as you take those, your baby should be ok... first of all... i would go to the dr... she should give you an RX for phenegrin... that should take the nausea away and help you get some rest... that's what this medicine was made for... nausea and vomiting...
when i'm sick like that, i usually drink a LITTLE sprite (no water)... eat saltines with a little cheese... or even a cheese sandwhich... eat this really slow... it helps me everytime...

Call your Dr and get either Reglan, Zofran, or Phenergan. I threw up until the day I delievered and these meds help.

you need to speak to your doctor about this. not being able to keep anything down is not good for you or the baby. you may need to be put on an anti nausea med. and if you get dehydrated, you will be hospitalized, so please call your doc immediately.

Sounds like you need to talk to your doctor about this because there can be something he/she can prescribe for nausea. Good-luck!!
