Well, First of all the eight year old should'nt be smoking and that is too much if I was you I stop it and stop letting the dad giving to him cause smoking is really bad for a child it might be okay for a grown up but really bad for a child that young you need take need of that suation and that's not at all.

OMG!! Call Child Protective Services. That is a failure in parenting and just common sence. That is a child and deserves more then to have his lungs damaged. I am so shocked to hear a eight year old is seriously smoking what was he thinking. As a person of morals and common sence I hope you do the right thing and speak up for the childs sake.

That father is an abusive dad and needs to be reported to the Social Services. No child should be smoking!

The child is unfortunately in a situation of extreme second hand smoke or to take up the habits of a bad parent. Not bad parenting, BAD parent. He should be jailed for a crime called child abuse, all smoking parents should be.

Yes I would be so mad because his little body could probably not handle all that nicotine and stuff.Call the child care center or somthing because the kid probably doesn't even know that he can get lung cancer when he is older and that is not fair to that poor child! Good luck!

That is just crazy.... i would say his father really didn't care about his son if he is letting that happen... my husband smokes but he would never ever let our son smoke at any age.... sad sad world
