What rumors have been spread about you?
One that was off the wall was one where I was kissing guys in the bathroom at work. Actually it was someone else.
I should have been mortified. But I thought it was funny. I didn't find out for weeks what was going on but I noticed a lot of strange looks!
No wonder!

A boy at school that I went out with briefly spread a load of rumours. He wanted to have sex, but I said no, so he broke up with me, and then told half the school that we'd done it, and loads of other stuff, including that I'd give BJs in the school toilets for money. What really hurt was that everyone believed him, but no-one believed me when I denied it. Basically my life at school for the rest of that term was hell, but by the following term other gossip had taken over instead.

That I was pregnant at 16 and thinking about suicide. A city cop actually stopped me and had me sit in the car and talk to him about this. I had to laugh at the rumor and thank the cop for his concern, and I told him that I was still a virgin, and not planning suicide at all.
That I was pregnant at the tender age of 32, five years after I'd had my tubes tied. The work place is so up to date on their rumors. lol
Of course there were always the rumors of my being a lesbian because I could take care of myself and do my job without a man helping me all the time. I worked in a machine shop where most of the women ran to the men for help and I rarely had to do that, so, since I'm kind of mechanically inclined, I had to be a lesbian, there was no other excuse. And yes, they were started by men in the shop that I wouldn't date. And the shocked look on their faces when I laughed at them amused me beyond belief.

yeah people started say that i gave this guy a BJ is the school bathroom but then i started coming out and then they dont think that no more at least me being a lesbian helped me not deal with the stupidity of some people

That I was rich. I have no idea why. I've never sported an abundance of brand names, i'm not a snob. But, up until highschool, people seemed to think that I had some serious money.

I used to be very involved in the gay and lesbian community center.
A guy I only sort of knew there spread a rumor that I was enormously well endowed. I have no idea why he did that...I only wish it were true.

someone started a rumor at my work that i was leaving and i was but hadn't told anyone so that ended my dream of having a shock walk out scene.

MY MOM WHO HAD RETIRED AND WAS MOVING OUT OF TOWN SOLD HER HOME BUT EVERY ONE WAS SAYING HOW MY MOMS WENT BROKE AND ASKING HOW COULD ME AND MY SIBLINGS WHO WERE ALL GROWN, COULD LET MY MOM LOSE HER HOME, WHICH WAS NOT TRUE AND MOST CASE PEOPLE SHOULD JUST MIND THERE BUSINESS.
