Hello, Laura! Sorry, but you need natural fibers such as wool, silk, cotton, linen, hemp, ramie, etc, to accept dyes made from flowers or plants. I love to show people how to "dye naturally", from Scouts getting their textile badges to fiber artists who want to enhance their wearable art. There are many sites online for more information on this, notably Earthues, Aurora Silk, Griffin Dyeworks, and The Dyeworks. Go see what they have to say. -- Bjo Trimble (Dyelady)
