Has she always been this way or is this a new behavior in response to a bad breakup, job loss, illness, death? You could try to get her to talk to you and tell you what's going on or maybe you could suggest that she see a therapist to help her resolve some issues.

Be there for her for support and understanding. You might even suggest a visit to her doctor as she may have underlying issues in her life or health related issues that only a Dr. can discover.

leave her alone until she snaps out of it. You don't need the drama. Or tell her parents that she needs help and let them deal with it.

So don't say anything. Let her speak first and then respond as wisely as you can.
