The witch of Endor is a woman who was consulted by Israels first King. She was afraid of him because he had already outlawed sorcery in the land. In the kings final days there was no one to help him in his decisions concerning a coming battle and he sent his people to find someone who could speak to the dead so that he could talk to one of God's prophets who had just died. The witch performed her deed reluctantly and then screamed when the prophet actually did appear.(the woman screamed because she knew this talking to the dead was a hoax and really didn't expect anything out of the seance.) God Himself sent His prophet to speak to the king. This the witch did not expect. The dead prophet spoke to the king and told him that not under any circumstance will God help him and in fact he is to die! Then the prophet left the king to his own self.
The story was about Saul's consulting the witch and you can read the whole story in the first book of Samuel. It is the 28th chapter.
Endor is a place in northern Israel.

The witch of Endor comes from Bible - specifically the chapter of 1 Samuel 28:7. King Saul was looking for advice on war strategy and asked the witch to call up a spirit that could help him against God's will. He took the advice of the spirit and lost his life after carrying it out.

The witch of Endor delved in familiar spirits. She didn't raise the dead. She wasn't scared at the sight of Samuel because she wasn't expecting results. She screamed because it was Samuel instead of a familiar spirit.

It relies upon on what style of resurrection you're speaking about. many human beings are presented back to life through CPR. it fairly is genuine resurrection. And the body would nicely be presented back to life after a lot longer than only 4 - 5 minutes of a flatline. It relies upon on the state of information as flatline takes position. frequently the word "resurrection of the body" is in connection with the Catholic doctrine that it is the body that is raised in to immortal life contained in the after life. because of this that Catholics are meant to be buried not cremated. If that were authentic, the continues to be of "saints" does not be left right here in the global because the artifacts that believers make pilgrimages to visit. The resurrection of the body into the spirit global isn't coherent as "resurrection" means to develop the honestly form back to it is unique living state. In occult theory and practice, the resurrection of a lifeless individual is plausible yet attempting to practice common sense to such activities is an exercising in futility. some belongings you may settle for that there is no common sense behind it and that there'll be no medical evidence. even as a mom lifts a 2 tonne truck to keep her baby, it defies fantastically a lot each and every rule of physics and biology. we are better than the sum of our aspects in spite of the actuality that and what the guy (body and soul blended) is able to is going previous the common sense of the textile global. do exactly not attempt to practice common sense to it.

Of course. It is a Biblical reference to a witch that a King consulted. I learned it in church, Sunday School, and bible school. Also from reading the Bible and my cultural diversity training in college. Hope that helps.

Its another story in the Bible. She was the one that King Saul chose to frequent. When she told of the death of his sons in battle, all witches were banned. (Truth hurts!) It is found in Deuteronomy.
