Rigid Wrap!! You can find this at many craft stores. It is gauze with plaster on it. You soak it in water then place it on the areas you want to take a mold off. You must first place Vaseline or some type of lubrication down first. Rigid Wrap allow you to take accurate molds off of any body part including the face. If you do chose to use the face make sure you allow the model to breath using straws in the nostrils. Once you have your finished mold you can pour plaster into it, Make sure you put Vaseline or mold soap down first so that your mold will come apart easy.

What material do you want your finished result to be? Metal, Ceramic, Chocolate, plaster? I suggest initially using the rigid wrap to get a mold of the subject, then taking the mold and casting a plaster mold from that. Once you have a plaster mold you can take a mold from that. Using the final mold you can pour wax into it if you want to cast it in metal, pour a deflocculated clay slip into if you want it to be ceramic, pour plaster in if you want plaster (don’t forget to lube up) or take a silicone mold and use that to cast it in chocolate!

Good luck!

since you have plaster I am assuming you mean to use it instead of using grease or oil as a release cover the body with suran wrap fairly tight to keep out wrinkles for the most part. apply plaster in a thin coat then add gauze and let that start to dry then add another layer until it is thick enough to not break allow for the cast to get heated from its drying action before you detach it or it will most likely break. If you are going to cast the mold later when it comes out simply scrape away any evidence of folds in the suran wrap. if you want a perfet mold of the chest with every little detail go for agar or a molding gel backed by fine wire mess and plaster you can get a much harder shell for the outer part if you mix your plaster 3 to 1 with densite to make it much much stronger and still be working with water for mixing and cleanup

Use plaster of Paris.
Have the person rub petroleum jelly on their chest, lay down on a bed/table. Apply a layer of plaster to their chest. Put on a layer of cloth and apply another coat of plaster. Repeat the process.
If you don't put the cloth in, the plaster would not be strong enough to hold together.

Wild Bill has the correct method. Just make sure that this person's ches is well-coated with vasaline in order to prevent sticking. If your model is at all hairy, he will hate you forever if you are not careful!

You could try mod-roc. It might not show much detail, though.
