Of course, why would you feed your baby something you are afraid to eat yourself?
It's sweet, very sweet.
And compared to most baby food & formula, it actually is not unpleasant.

Yes. It seem kind of weird at first to drink your own milk. (Note- I didnt put it in a cup and chugg it down, just a few sips)-But honestly it tastes pretty sweet. (think 2% milk after being in a bowl of Frosted Flakes) It is just about that sweet. I have an 18 month old daughter whom I breastfeed until 11 months and now I have a 7 week old who I will provide nurishment to until she is a year old. Good Luck-Try it out-Its yours!

Hee hee, yes... just to taste it, not to drink it or anything. It is surprisingly sweet. I do eat a lot of chocolate, perhaps that has something to do with it. :-)
Have you tasted formula? It's terrible!! We always had some on hand 'just for emergencies' like if I got hit by a car or something... no wonder babies have a hard time transitioning from breastmilk to formula. That's like eating every night at a fancy 5 star restaurant than being reduced to nothing but McDonalds every day.

Sure... Why not... It seemed like a perfectly natural thing to do. What's the worst that could happen? It might not taste great, but it's not going to make you sick or anything. Just be prepared for it to be overly sweet. It likely won't taste anything like what you are expecting and I don't think there's a good way to describe it.

Yes, I've tasted a drop or two! It tastes much sweeter than cow's milk. I figure I ate the stuff when I was a baby, so it wouldn't be that strange to taste it now!

I think it is humane curosity to see what it taste like. We just wonder what breast milk taste like; not that we are sick and what to taste our own milk, but think about it, you sure as heck don't want to taste someone elses. I bet 95% of women that have breast feed have tasted thier milk and are to embarrased to say so. I hate any kind of milk. Yes it does have a sweetness to it and I'm a sweet junkie; but breast milk taste gross just like any other milk. I am a true believer in breast feeding. I breast feed all three of my boys.

I did once on accident. I was heating a bottle of pumped milk and stuck my finger in it to test the temperature. Without thinking, I put my finger in my mouth to clean it off. (Like you do when testing anything you are about to give your child!) I was kind of embarrassed at myself. I don't know why, I just was. Then I, like you wondered if anyone else has done that!

I have tastes like sugar...
And if your baby falls asleep on a leather couch beside you (while I was awake don't freak out I wasn't going to crush him) and doesn't drink the last mouthful it dries into a sticky concrete.

I've drunk my girlfriend's milk, straight from her boob. It was very tasty & I'd love to meet another woman to do it again. Check out the video for something really erotic.
