They can eat brussle sprouts but not lemons. They can eat almost any vegetable that we can eat and I would stick to non citrus fruit.
They love all crunchy vegetables but cauliflower and broccoli are the best as they contain lots of vitamin C.
Cale, spring cabbage and savoy are great for them as well as lots of fresh hay.
Try to stay away from Iceberg lettuce as too much can be a laxative.

They can probably most definitely eat brussel sprouts, and there is a good chance that they can eat lemons, too, since they can eat oranges. Oranges are actually very good for them, since they give them an adequate supply of Vitamin C. However, do not exceed 1/4 of an orange per day per pig. And if you were to take a risk and feed your guinea pig lemon, I would only recommend a little bit, since it is more acidic and much stronger than orange. I would not exceed 1/2 of a lemon per week (maybe like 1/16 every day). They also shouldn't be fed iceberg lettuce (any other such as Romaine is ok). Some people say it is just unaffective and doesn't do anything, while others say that it is harmful to your piggie. Either way, I don't recommend it!!!

Guinea pigs actually can eat lemons, they just shouldn't have very much or else their mouths develop sores. My guinea pig especially likes citrus fruits, but I would pick oranges over lemons, they taste much better and I noticed that they get eaten faster. Brussel sprouts are also fine, my guinea pig loves them. Here is a great list of foods that are okay and some that are bad: http://cavypop.com/CavyNutrition.html. They have just about everything you can think of on there. Good luck!

They can eat most vegtable and fruit I think, just no citris fruit. My guinea pigs love carrots and apples. Bananas can be used as a treat since they are sweet. Also just plain Romaine lettuce works great too.

Whoever says you may no longer supply guinea pigs broccoli is incorrect! I even have had my guinea pigs for 5 years. in actuality I first had 2 lady cavies, which I regrettably have been given from a puppy shop. (Please purchase any and all animals from rescue centers and the Humane Society, for puppy shops are only ruthless.) certainly one of them became into pregnant, so for the final 5 years, and at the instant, I even have had 4 lady guinea pigs. when I have been given them, i became into advised by a vet that brocolli is great. I feed mine broccoli a minimum of two-4 circumstances a month, and that they are great. they have in no way had abdomen or butt problems, era! And confident, from my journey, any puppy shop ( exceedingly PetSmart and Petco) have in no way given me good data. approximately my cavies. i might in no way believe somebody who cages, greater like packs, cavies in slightly glass cage, no count number the intercourse, just to get them offered. I understand that's their activity, yet i does not be waiting to artwork at a place that mistreats cavies like that. confident, guinea pigs can consume broccoli!

They most likely will not eat lemons. They will eat almost any fruits and veggies. They also like grass and weeds from the yard that has not been sprayed with pesticides.
