Flash drives are great for backup and file storage or transfer but if you leave them plugged in all the time, they will have heat problems. The new generation coming out are supposed to be much better. The thing that makes them better is they are solid state and have great access times when plugged into USB 2.0 ports. They are actually coming out with drives to replace Hard Drives but are having size issues currently. Check the website below for more information.

Hard disc is integrated with computer. storage devices are removable. I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some RAM/hard drive problems can be easily fixed yourself by using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful. Try this site, if you can get what is required.

It's only better for working purposes. Files are immediately accessible, however, for storage -- only better until it crashes.

You should consider getting some flashdrives for backups, or, if you can afford it, an external hard drive for backups.

To prove my point, open then save a file on your hard drive. Note how quickly it loads and saves. Now open and close a file on a:, for example. Do you see how exasperatingly slow it is?
