Yes, I agree. We seem to isolate ourselves in front of the computer screen and never interact with another human, sometimes all day. I know that people feel that they are interacting by emailing, texting, IMing but there is not personal interaction. I do believe that the more computerized we become, it will be easier and easier for people to never enter the "real" world. Computers will do it all. I believe that eventually, computerization will cause the extinction of human interactions as we know it. Paranoia and anxieties will increase because people will become afraid to go out of their comfort zone and that zone is becoming smaller and smaller.

yes, but I am not sure where you want your question to go. I do think it sad, and see some frightening social changes, especially in the political arena that people staying home to be on the computer plays into. People are texting more and more, which is changing our written language, and people have already lost many social skills when interacting in real life situations. So yes, I believe we are becoming more isolated, even from individuals in our family groups. I know families who communicate in thier own homes primarily through cell phones. Sad and scary.

Some isolate themselves in a game universe.
It just helps them be who they are anyway.
