Actually the nile runs 6695kms , but whats happening is the Amazon which is the 2nd longest river , it is having 2 origins . whats happening is every one measures its length from the origin which is easily tracable , from where, its length is 6436kms. But from the other lengthy tributary , if we measure the length of run , it is 6740 kms . So the nile is the second and the mighty AMAZON is the LONGEST and the LARGEST.
