Try orange oil after the spots are completely dry and let it soak in.

This might sound drastic but as the problem is caused by water then therein lies the solution,sorry about the pun. Where you have water spot, marks, rings, etc.wash the area with a copious amount of water leaving the area wet and the whole area gets saturated. After a few minutes wipe all the water away and the area will dry perfectly!

There are a lot of "cures" for this problem but the only one which will work is to use something called blush eliminator. It is an aerosol can of solvents that will melt the finish, allow it to level back out, and then dry. Any solution that requires rubbing with a rag or toothpaste will change the look of the table. Blush eliminator is also called No Blush or Blender Flow-Out. You can find it online at www.touchupsolutions.com and they can provide you technical assistance over the phone.

Check Lowe's or Home Depot, I saw a type of conditioner or something for that very purpose. Look where the wood fillers and wood putty's are located. Good luck!

Check your hardware for a stain polish that matches the color, no sanding just apply and let it soak in, good luck
