I liked Katie on Today but for news Bob Schieffer(sp?) was better- She is just not well grounded in news, politics and current events. Sort of a fluff piece show now.

She was perfect for the Today Show and should have stayed there. She's intelligent but her sense of humor and quirkiness are what made the Today Show so successful, especially after Bryant Gumbel left. He was becoming a legend in his own mind.

Not true, they paid her millions of dollars to sign her on. I doubt they'd get rid of her so quickly.
