the first time that iv seen it was when me and my dog where home by our selves my kids and my spouse were gone for the night. my dog was with me on my bed and i was watching tv then she just went nuts barking like crazy towards the bathroom and shaking like she was scared and the hair on the back of her neck was sticking straight up she was pissed and scared at the same time . so i got up and look in the bathroom and seen what look like a bottem of a trench coat went out thru the other door so i thought that i was not alone and ran to the other side with my baseball bat and shut the door behide me so they would not backtrack but when i got there there was noone in the room or in the house . even my neibour has seen the black man thing she said that it look like it was walking around my house in the afternoon around 2:00 pm as if he or she or it was looking for a way in . then last night my daughter saw it in my bathroom she said that it look like a grim ripper.

i dont think its a grim ripper but it wears a clock like one and its black but in a picture its white .

my home is 7 yrs old and is a double wide house we bought the land from our landlords that we lived on the propty for 12 yrs but never had seen this thing before then intell the last yr or so maybe two the most and the mobile home was own by one person but he went to jail and we bought it on a forcloser and i know a guy that lived withhim and he was very religous man . and there was a house on the propty but i know the man and his that built the house and be for that it was farm land for wheat .

There is a phenomenon called "shadow people". They are very mysterious but do not appear to be harmful. A girl at work told me she saw a short one come out of her closet. The best expert on this sort of thing that I know of is Joshua P. Warren. He has written excellent books on the subject and has a website called LEMUR.com. Wow. What an experience.
First of all, calm down.
I've experienced something simular, but not quite. It was a black shadow on my wall that didn't leave for about 15 mintues, when there was no way a shadow could have been there. It was on the wall, under a window pane, and it only showed the bottom half of a man's pants.
When you're dealing with spirits, be firm, but never rude.
If you believe in God, and things get really scary, you can dispell a spirit by pleading the blood of Christ. Something simple as "By the blood of christ, leave this house" The thing is, you have to believe with all your being that this will work. Or simply ask your guardian angels for help too. I was told by someone who deals with the paranormal that pleading the blood of Christ can dispell up to a low level demon.
If you don't believe in God, then ask help by whatever power you believe in.
A cat can also tell when a spirit is near. My cat chased one off not to long after we'd moved here to where I live now.
Another thing you can do is to seal your home with incense. It's a simple ritual. The best to use is sweet grass, but if that's not available really any will do. Again, it's the belief that counts. You merely light the incense and let the smoke go from corner to corner of your house. While you do this, verbally tell the spirits that are not wanted to leave, but remember...you have to leave a window cracked so that they can get out of the house. Otherwise they can get trapped. I start from one side of the door entrance, then I circle around the room, letting the smoke go into each corner. Don't forget the basement if you have one.
After you seal the house, you can also let the smoke create a ring on the outside of the house if you like, but that's optional.
If there is a fear of sleeping in the beds, then you can protect with a circle. It can be made of anything, but it has to be a complete connection, and the circle doesn't have to be perfect. This is just to keep unwanted spirits out while you sleep.

Your question reminded me of The Montel Williams Show this past Wed. morning. Every Wed. Sylvia Browne is on (she's a famous psychic) and a lady asked her about a mysterious man in black who seems to show up around her all the time. He's wearing what seems to be a long black coat and a hat of some kind. Sylvia told her that he is a "kindred soul". A person who she loved and who loved her in a past life, and who is her protectorant in this life. She said he is there simply to watch out for her. Perhaps yours is a similar situation. Sylvia has written many books about things like this, they're very interesting.

Sounds like you have a Shadow Ghost. You're not the only one that's seen one, trust me.
I've seen two.
The first one always showed up in our hallways at night. He was about 6 feet tall and you couldn't see his feet but you could tell by his form that it was a man. And I'm not the only one that saw him. My mother did too. Which really scared her since she didn't believe in ghosts.
The second one was a woman that was sitting on my bed.
Neither of them did anything but be there and surprise me by being there.

Say, With the white light of the holy spirit, BE GONE!! Ive been told that this works, you can try it, also when you say that you can throw a little salt around as well, it is suppose to get rid of bad spirits that are in your home. Good luck!

I'm going to tell you what was told to me when I lived in a house that had spirits.
Say out loud, "We mean you no harm" and then go to your front door, open it, and say (out loud again), "Your time has passed, please leave our home".
This worked for me, I lived in my "haunted" apartment for months after I did this without seeing anything else.

I'm not sure - is your house secure? If not, you could have an intruder. Get the police to check your house out for security for you. If it is secure, it sounds creepy as hell, and I'd try to move out if I were you. If it is some kind of "presence", it doesn't sound like a friendly or benign one, so I'd get out of there!!

thats really freaky if i were you i wouldnt really stay home alone over night with your kids if your husbands not home. you can try seting up cams or actully catch the thing

well,a grim reaper usually brings death in the familiy . i am not saying that the death will be in your family but it might be in the neighborhood.the best thing to do is move out of the house.wats wrong with u?u must get out as soon as u see a grim reaper.please.
