As African Amercian i have often ponder this very question, i think it comes from our experience in slavery, they took Everyting from us including our Familes, so we had 2 beleive that God would give us some salvation, this is the one thing slave master couldn't take and I think we are basically a very forgiving people, we had 2 have something to believe when we SO SO very Lttle. We can't Sum up the hold experience in this reasoning but this basic reason.

I am white. My answer is if that is so maybe they are smarter than we are. They have been so unjustly supressed that religion has been a good crutch for them. Certainly better than booze or dope Good for them
