Hey Juventina
Yes, I think there should be an award for best coach of the tournament (whichever one it may be). Of course I would say that Lippi would have deserved that honour simply because he was able to direct a team that was hurting badly from all that was happening at home with the scandal. Not to mention Pessotto's (I think that's how you spell his name) attempted suicide during the world cup. He held the team together and because of his hard work and dedication they won the most coveted trophy in soccer.
Forza Azzurri per sempre.

I'll go for Juergen Klinsmann. Although he was one of a superstars in the past, in the last World Cup he was one of the most unexperienced coaches. Being a player and a coach are big difference. If I were supporting Germany I wouldn't hope my favorite team would hold the cup but having the result, although it still wasn't holding the cup, I wouldn't stop partying around. Bravo, Klinsi!

i definetly do , good things should be awarded , good contribution should be awarded . and coaches are responsible for their team's performance till some extent . they give tremndous effort , contribution . coaches selct formation , team , they gve engouragemnet , tactics , stratergies , whatever you say . yes , i think there was a lot of contribution from lippi in this wc for italy's performance . fifa must be thinking about it and i hope i will see the award next year .
for this world cup it would go to lippi , scholari or klinsman.
lippi - not because he was the coach of the champions , his overall coaching was excellent / best
scholari - scholari did a great job against engalnd and every match . i did not expect portugal will reach this far .
klinsman - klinsman was very good in every match with germany , just in vs italy match , he lacked , if germany had to faced portugal in the world cup , they must have won , and klinsman was very good overall the tournament .
thanks .

if there is an award for the best coach during the last FIFA World Cup, Juergen Klinsmann should be the recipient. that is good idea, if there are award for best player, why not having an award for best coach as well? hmm....good suggestion.

I must say it's either Scolari or Hiddink, because they brought up their team to a higher level!
