Do you tend to say things that relate to yourself a lot in your answers?

I do... it just feels good to write my feelings out and know somebody will read it...
I asked a few questions in here, and I was surprised at the truthful (at least I think it was true) responses that I got... I just want to thank y'all! :-)

i give some pretty personal info on Y!A. i've always written poetry, journals, etc. but no one ever read them. i have a lot to share...a lot of lessons learned the hard way. and i know that if i share an experience here, someone will benefit from it, even if its only one person. and i'm always hoping to "meet" someone who i can "talk" to or who feels comfortable talking to me. so many people try to "hook up" here, and that's fine, but i just like making new friends!!
also, when i answer someone's question, i don't do it for the amusement of other viewers, i answer directly to the asker.

Yes I find myself doing that a lot sometimes. I often mention my husband who passed away suddenly 3 years ago. I try not to in my "real" life because I find it too hard to see the looks of pity. The last thing I want is pity. On YA I can mention him and it just brings back good memories.

I think almost all of us on here do to a certain extend....I do too.

(I tend to put most of "myself" in the answers to questions that touch me in one way or another.....hence the fact I always write those long, boring answers.....wish I could make myself clear in just a few, simple lines....much easier to read for other people)

Most of the time, unless I'm answering a silly and fun question from someone like Jimbo :) ~ I try to be myself either way :)

4 sure...............u have 2 b honest. I look at it as a way 2 get feelings and thoughts out that u never thought u would and share ur thoughts and feeling with people who might benefit from it.

i do,,not ashamed of anything so why not? it is refreshing to have the truth and not the version of it all tidied up for the nation,,wheres the point in that.

I always answer truthfully. You never know when an answer can profoundly affect someone else.
