You never know. I am surprised you are able to go to sleep with all that. A family friend swears her house is haunted. Several people said they have heard children laughing upstairs and there no kids living there.

Sorry to declare you will easily smell of smoke. anybody with a smoker of their residing house (even people who think of that "only smoking interior the kitchen" by some potential makes it ok) consistently stink of it. As a non smoker and residing in a non smoking residing house i'm able to quickly tell if somebody has been in a smoking residing house or perhaps only had a pant. the fact is which you're proof against it and each little thing on your finished residing house would be permeated with the smell. you only won't be able to smell it. and that i ought to declare that your dad smoking interior the home is completely selfish as he's making you a passive smoker!

okay, from experience in both arenas; If the mother was a chain smoker and smoked constantly in the house that smell as well as nicotine stains is there until the house is freshly painted ,steamed and aired.on the other hand I have experienced many events in my life with a sudden fragrance in the air, things moving by themselves etc.in which case you might want to read Lisa Williams recent answers to questions on Lifetime.Hope this helps..Nova

It's a common phenomenon with visiting spirits. You could get a medium in to talk to her and see if she needs help moving on.

You could just be sensitive to the residual smell of tobacco which permeates everything. Check into odour removal and if it doesn't work, try a psychic medium.

Entities usually leave what paranormal psychologists would call footprints. It's like the smell of perfume or somethng familiar that there is no explanation for. It is possible that your friends mother isn't doing it on purpose but she is definatly there. You're not crazy :

I have read that one doesn't smell while asleep. Not sure though!
That would creep me out and I would never step a foot in that house again.

It is said that when someone passes away and knows that you are not scared, they will "come"visit you. Maybe she needed to tell her daughter something or just make her presence known.

I smell perfume that my grandma wore every so often. She has been gone since 1992.
