Do you prefer your best answers to be the voter's decision or the asker's decision?

I prefer the asker's; because I want to know what they think.

I prefer the asker choose the best answer because it was their question, after all! Also, the voters probably just want 1 point and some don't read all of the answer... they just choose one of the first few answers...

I prefer it to be the asker's decision but there are times that I appreciate the Voter's choosing when I can't decide between 2 or 3 of them.....

I really prefer the asker to decide. First of all, the asker is asking the question, so I really think I'd like to know if they were helped by the answers they recived. Otherwise, why ask the question in the first place? When the voter's decide, its very impersonal, and you never find out which answer the asker really took to heart. Great question!

I prefer asker's as well but I appreciate the best answer either way. Every time I get a best answer I always leave a nice comment for them. They do something nice for me and I return the favor...in fact I even do that if it was the voter's too..at least to say thanks!

I prefer when the asker chooses my answer as best. It is really nice, and I have a reason to leave a thank you note.

It really doesn't matter to me, one way or the other.

Once I put my best response forward it doesn't matter if it's chosen as 'best answer' by the voters or the asker. My best is what matters.

the askers decision because voters usually pick the first answer so they can quickly get their one point and leave straight away.

asker, because sometimes when its voters the answerers get their friends to vote for them, even when there is a better answer.

i prefer asker's too but if they can't figure it out then i'll gladly take a voter's decision.
