Depends on your definition of heroic. Those who look for glory or accolade's will up sell everything looking for that little bit of glory, or a pretty ribbon. (Does turning in a coworker for possessing illicit images count as being a hero?)
Those who have moral's and attempt to do the right thing, even going against the popular stand can be classified as heroes, can they not?
You don't need to run into a burning building or get in a shoot out to be a hero. Be there for someone who needs help or assistance. That is the true definition of hero.

I wouldn't say it was heroic but i once helped a little girl who was knocked down and injured while crossing the road but did no more than anyone else would of done

but i did look after my mum for a hell of a long time and sometimes if i hadnt been there she coulda died
thats not heroic though, thats just getting on with what needs to be done

I wouldnt consider it heroic, so i dont know if it counts, but just a good thing. I rescue injured animals (especially birds) when they get caught in barbed wires around our neighbours house and i take care of them until they can fly again.

I saved my chum's existence after we were on spring destroy. She doesn't recognize the thanks to swim. We were contained in the sea and there replaced into this plateau contained in the sea that you'll walk out on. after we turned around to go back decrease back, we both stepped off the plateau into like 7 feet of water, and couldn't get decrease back on. I really took a lung finished of salt-water for her, as I walked on the sea floor and held her over my head so she will be able to respire. it would want to were extremely heroic if i did not yell at her after the truth for kicking me contained in the face so damn a lot. B*tch.

it was about 3 years ago ! we had just started our family holiday we had only been in the resort for 1 hour we had just sat down for the first drink of the holiday when young girl jumped in pool and sank straight to the bottom without thinking i jumped in with my best clothes on and brought her back to the surface ! eventfull start of the holls

perhaps some might say so, but just doing what I thought was the right thing to do at the time. there are others who really are heroes, such as military, police officers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, etc.
