And if there is, why isn't it very popular?

Absolutely!! The second president "Jefferson" is on it.

I have found many people not liking the bill only for the fact that the change drawers of cash registers do not have enough room the way it is so another bill is just annoying.

On the other hand, though it is legal tender, alot of people tend to think it is rather special and end up tucking it away like it is a rare piece to add to their collection. The same goes for the dollar coins, no room in change drawer, too close to the quarter size and people just don't like them. Now the government is coming out with MORE ! They don't care if you use them or not, they make money off people hoarding them thinking they are something special when really they are not!

I make a habit of going to the bank and getting rolls of the coin dollars and the stacks of the $2 bills, which I give out as tips at restaurants and spend just to get them out in circulation.

Yes, there is a $2-note in the United States; it has Thomas Jefferson's picture on it. I suspect the reason it isn't popular is that most cash registers simply don't have a place for it. I got the two two-dollar bills that I have AT Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home, when I visted there in 1989 - at the time, they gave you at least one $2 bill in your change, unless you requested 1s. I don't know if they are presently being printed.

YES, there is a $2 bill in circulation, I don't believe they have printed new ones for quite a few years, but the existing ones ARE still legal tender.

If you mean a $2 bill the answer is yes. They are primarily used at race tracks where $2 bets are common.

I have a $2 bill in my little mini coin collection. I saw it when I cleaned out my closet yesterday.

Why isn't it popular? I have no idea.
