Always though it was book-able to take it out. Watching the Man city game are you?

I saw that also Dune. the game was Snooker, but the same rules apply, all balls must have stopped moving, and that includes spinning as one of the others pointed out. Sure he had won the game at that stage and it was an easy last black to finish and it should have been a foul, and a foul on the black ball is an automatic loss if I recall my wild and misspent High School years.

It's my understanding that the players are not allowed to remove the corner flag during play unless id is a danger to him

its true a player can move it slightly to place the ball but he cannot take it out of the ground and if the flag is in his way when he is tryin to kick the ball he is the wrong kicker some one that kicks with the other foot should kick the ball then the flag wont be in the way and vice versa on the other side

Normally it is not allowed. But Corradi was allowed it because it was after a goal and the ball was not in play. And it was a celebration anyway so to book him for that would be just silly.

Maybe a little. The serious problems occur when the players try to move the goalposts.

Nothing would happen to the player if it comes out accidentally, but if he moves it purposely, it should be a yellow card.

Only if you place it on the shoulder of another player, as if you were knighting him.
