Better boost his/her confidence. Tell him that he can do it. Run with him placing the hand on the bike, slowly take off your hand from the bike, if he can control the bike then just run along the bike. If he is not able to control it then again hold the bike. In a few trials he will be able to ride the bike on his own

No, because the child will panic. Just run along holding onto the bike and let go.When you let go say pedal, pedal, pedal... When he falls say good job you were doing that all by yourself.

don't say anthing. If he knows you take your hands off he'll get scared. So don't let him know and he'll have a better chance of doing it on his own.

no, just let go when u feel they are doing good, if u tell them they will get scared.
