Right before the election, gas prices went up locally by 7 cents a gallon. Since the election, they have now gone down by 12 cents a gallon. If the Republicans are controlling the price, why would they raise the price before the election, and lower them after?

Or maybe all these conspiracies about the Republicans are actually wrong!

All those gas conspiracy theories were hatched in a cave by left-wing liberal moonbats. Isn't it interesting how the "out of the mainstream" press went right along with it? Someone want to tell me again that they're not biased!!

You are correct. The republicans have no control over gas prices. Gas prices continue to fall. Propaganda at it's finest don't you think. Time for a media revolution. There is little truth out there. Always a slant. The media bigwigs have an agenda of there own. Fox,CNN and ABC are the main perpetrators. Create strife and division among Americans and it means higher ratings and more money in there pockets. America is choking on it's own freedom and the terrorist know and exploit this to they're advantage.

No, "all conspiracies" are not wrong. Most of them aren't "conspiracies" at all, rather, reports based on facts previously suppressed or convoluted by those with lots to lose.

I have no idea where you live, but, here in my county in Central Florida, the gas prices went DOWN before the election, and have been creeping steadily upwards SINCE the election. In order for a theory to hold water, I think it has to be one that has a bit more uniformity, don't you?

That and most all the other theory's on the Republican party, will either prove itself out or totally debunk it starting when the new congress takes over in Jan. 07. My guess is that by mid 07 prices will be up almost as high as the tax rate.

That's why the word is "locally." Enjoy it while it lasts, because it won't last long. Need proof? Go to http://www.gasbuddy.com and look at the price charts for the national average. It bottomed out two days before the election, and has started to climb again. 'Nuff said.

Bingo! I think those that voted in the democridiots are going to be getting a lot of surprises when reality sets in. That is the bright spot with the election results.
