for a guitar, what does drop Db tuning mean?????

the first two answers are correct, i prefer to down tune all strings a whole step, it sounds alot heavier. :)

It means you lower the E string to Db.

you tune your guitar to e flat,the tune the E string to D flat...just like dropped D tuning,except your in flat
