I think he deserves the respect that the President of the United States should get. I also think he is the most politically targeted President this nation has ever had. His stance against terrorism has taken it's toll on his party and his presidency. History will Be more kind to him then the present.

Just as with most presidents during a time of war, his support from the American people has waned. However, I feel that his actions all have good intentions. I feel he is a good man that thinks the Iraqi people deserve better and has a chance for a democracy that may usher in a new era for peaceful muslims if successful. He may have underestimated the sectarian hatred between the three factions there in Iraq and being loyal to a fault, was reluctant to fire key people to take a fresh look into how we win the war there.
Ultimately, history tends to speak favorably of 2-term presidents. I think a lot hinges on the end result in Iraq. IF we are successful in assisting Iraq to install a democracy, he'll be viewed in history as one of the greatest presidents of this era. If we fail, however, I think he'll be compared to L.B. Johnson and the fiasco of Viet Nam.
Only time will tell!

I think he is a puppet. He is the front man for the people who really control this country. I feel a great amount of pity for this man. He got into something he couldnt get out of I feel. I do not think he is as dumb as he makes himself appear. I think he lowers his speech patterns to something his core voting base can understand and uh I cant remember the word for it but they align themselves to him because he speaks like them. I think he is rather adept at manipulating people and does it very well. I also think he would be a fascinating person to have a one on one conversation with. He is not a stupid man at all, in the 80s during his fathers campaign he wrote the study on manipulating the christian right voters.

I thought very highly of him in the beginning. His visit to Vietnam did it, I think he insulted every Veteran by his visiting and to top it all of he was sitting under a large artwork of Ho Chi Ming. It made me so sick, I could not eat my Dinner. I don't believe he has any ethics and
will do anything he wants to do, he does not consider the effect his actions have on the people who voted for him and regretting it, he will be remembered in History as a President who did not consider the Constitution and tried to rule instead of govern.

A great man, leader, commander-in-chief. He is an American hero, but controversial. He is truly not afraid to lead and make the tough decisions even when he faces loud opposition. Committed to doing "the right thing" as one of the leaders of the free world! Only time will spell this out to political opposition here in the US.

I try not to; I simply look forward with great anticipation to January 20, 2009, and in the meantime, keep my fingers crossed that he doesn't do any more stupid stuff than what he's already managed.
