There is nothing you can do but stay home. Going to the wedding is selfish because everyone sitting at your table is at risk of getting sick. The bride and groom could even get sick - what an awful honeymoon that would be!!!!! Do everyone a favor and stay home. Make it up to the bride and groom some other time by taking them out to dinner or doing something special for them.

Hi

Try taking pepto Bismol..I have had wonderful luck with this. I find the liquid seeps in quicker then the tablet. It is also handy..the bottle usually fits in my purse.

Also you might want to think about taking some vitamin C (Emergen-C is good..it comes in packets and dissolves in your water...) just don't take too much..because you can get the poops (but pepto bismol helps for that too..so you might be covered)

lastly..drink gatorade...if you are dehydrated...this helps wonders..replacing the electrolites that you lost while getting sick. Once hydrated you will feel better...

Lastly..at the wedding..sit in the last pew..if in a church..find out where the bathrooms are at..bring some TP..sometimes they run out...bring hand sanitizer and give an extra bottle to the bride.

Also brides don't always get around to see everyone....slip her a card on her table that you are not feeling well..so don't come to close....

I had sick friends at my wedding...but I didn't get sick....my friends said they actually felt better because they were dancing ....got the blood moving...

you could also just make an appearance..and then leave if you aren't feeling better....take some pics at the ceremony and make a little photo album and send to the bride/groom if you missed the reception....

hope you feel better...

Take a run to the drug store and ask a pharmacist and take over the counter stuff and eat a piece of plain toast. Then clean up and scrub out that sour mouth and go to the wedding and keep away from people and touching. Wash hands and then wash hands and then wash hands. Every time the slightest touch - wash the hands. If you go to the reception - be the wall flower. Keep away from everyone so you don't spread this around. If this is the one going around - you do not want to be the Typhoid Mary of the wedding set. Have fun.

NOTHING! Stay home and don't spread your virus to the wedding guests and the bride and groom. Send your gift with someone else and get better! Stay in bed, drink liquids, and soft food. Rest is your only cure!

I have to agree with the others, if you've caught some kind of stomach virus going around, instead of just eating something that upset your stomach, you could pass it on to others. I know it sucks, but you should make your apologies and not attend. I'm sure they will understand and appreciate the fact that you didn't want them to possibly be sick on their honeymoon.

Nothing. You are going to have to cancel.

Wouldn't you feel bad if the bride caught it from you, and puked her entire honeymoon?
