I worked in Archives for one week and was fired for being too bored. My co-workers were a bunch of Christian goody goods. One girl actually came in bragging about calling the cops the previous night on some guys smoking marijuana and she stuck around to tell the cops where the guys went. It's only marijuana...give me a break!! And my supervisor (yawn) had his radio on some Christian station. Maybe if it had been on something good I'd have been able to handle the boredom of entering data into the computer from 5 years ago...so and so vs so and so blah blah blah.

The job that I had before my present job was horrible.
We were short staffed and people called in sick all the time and made it worse.
My coworkers were always trying to stick me with the closing shift and succeeding.
The worst of all was the woman who farted constantly in our tiny work space.
She ate beans all the time because she is diabetic and said they were the perfect protein food.
Whatever, I sat in her stench and worked my butt off for as long as it took to find a new job.
They also told me I had a bad attitude.
At my new job, the one I have now, I have lots of friends, my boss loves me and I am at peace.

i wouldnt say hated, but when i first started my job, i was a minority,,, often the only white woman going to certain locations, there were days i would walk in and say hello to my workmates, and they would just stop their conversations, look at me, not speak, and start talking again to each other.... there were times i was singled out for critisisim, and given the worst jobs to do,,,,, most white women who started left quickly,,,,, that was two years ago, things have changed,, to a great extent, i have moved up ,,,, while there is still some racism,, the work place is more balanced now,,, it took alot of biting my tongue,,, and also reminding myself i was there for the money,,,,, to make it threw ,,,,,,,, all i can suggest is find the few coworkers who you do get along with, and to remind yourself that your not there to make friends or have a social life, your there to work and earn money,,,

Wow. I have and so I know what you are feeling. I once worked in this incredibly uptight place with a boss who was jerk and a bunch of fellow employees who were all brain damaged. I lasted three months I think before I just could not deal with it anymore. Hope you are finding your path to peace. :)

No, but I once worked at a place where I hated the boss. I think the feeling was mutual. I moved on.

Yes, unfortunately it was the USMC and I couldn't just quit. I had to work with these morons for 4 years. At least the training was good and I had kids for free.

There were a couple of them that I did not care for the way they treated another fellow worker, and I let them know it. But I didn't hate them. I felt sorry for them.

Yeah. One of the reasons I started my own company. I don't have co-workers now. Employees. And believe me, they'll drive just as crazy. But at least you can fire them.

They make questions to get you irritated
Then you'll be the center of attraction
And all the laughs come from the jokes they make of you....
Yeah! It sucks
You'll just need to find real friends outside of the office!

Nope. Can't say that I have. I usually get along with most of the people I've worked with.
