A difficult question to answer definitively ... but as there are slightly more women on the planet then men, (the ratio being something like 51/49), I'd say that any job appealing to both men and women will almost certainly attract more women than men.

but to answer you question: probably more actresses are famous than actors so i guess in that respect, there are more actresses because fame is like their job

I don't know if you have been in a drama class lately but in my school we had our token male and that was about it ... It was a blue moon when we had more that three males... In the community theatre which I participate in the numbers are even...
