Actually, "they" do not put bottle openers on key chains. Individuals purchase these bottle openers and put them on key chains.
Freedom of choice.
This is like asking why people have knives in their kitchen when it is illeagle to stab you kids?!?

hm mm maybe you buy a drink that needs a bottle opener while your driving somewhere or you cant ever find one at home but alas you have one on your keys !!

Its a chain reaction about money. Buy beer, drink beer, get addicted to beer, need keychain to open beer, kill someone in wreck and rehab. Money !!! And its legal !

bc u usually have ur keys on u still when u are at a party.. then u dont have to worry about running around and ur beer getting warm b4 u can get it open...
