he doesn't appear to have the power to rule a nation, his uncle has control of that. but, his will and desire to revenge his father's death gives him the power to successfully get rid of the king and those who are most loyal to him. in a way he has a lot more power than anyone would give him credit for.

I just had to recite his "To be or not to be" skit for a college course this past Thursday. I would say no! He's a very discouraged guy, who is considering suicide, because he wonders if its worth it all. He doesn't sound confident, nor does he sound like he believes he has any power to avenge his father's death.

No, I dont think so. He is a mad man. When his uncle kills his father and then marries his mother,he shows his true self and we can see his reaction. He has psychological problems.
