I've never received any emails, even though my settings seem to allow them. Either I haven't impressed anyone enough with my answers or I haven't p*ssed them off enough to email me.

I know what you mean. I have done the same thing. A lot of times I have chosen the 2nd best answer because that had a E-mail I could contact to say thank you & the best did not.I some times use the commemt after the rateing to say thank you but that is not the same as letting the person know how much you liked the answer& what you really felt about the subject.I do not answer questions or ask questions I do not want fed back from I could care less what the fedback is , good or bad, just that it is fedback. Is not that why we are here on this site?

I don't know if any of my answers are what you call "outstanding" but I do not hide and I do my best to answer any email sent to me.
You can always send me an email. I may not answer and there could be many reasons for this. I forgot, I didn't look, I am just to lazy, I didn't have a good day, I am tired, I just don't like your question or I am just being a twit!
Please know that if I don't answer your email it has nothing to do with you as a person or the value of you personally.

I rather enjoy people taking the time to remind me that I'm coarse, abusive, obstreperous, and a fascist. (The fact that I've never reported a single person doesn't count for much)
So, I don't really have an answer.
This in itself is not surprising; I am narrow minded.
Edit: I have now reported a person. Just one, but I did the deed several times.
I can no longer claim innocence.
Just being honest.

Because if there is a way to email someone, a spammer will find a way to abuse the ability. Some people just like the ability to come on here and asnwer or ask questions while staying private.

I agree. A lot of people with great thoughts don't allow email. It's a bit of a disappointment.
Also, I noticed a certain user recently had his account reinstated. I wanted to congratulate him, but he too doesn't allow email. So, I guess I can't get an Answer, man. ;-)

I know, I love getting mail from the libs, especially from a certain "person" who answered this question. They usually show how vile and hateful they are when they email me privately. When I try to respond however, the cowards don't accept emails!

It's dangerous, like taking bait. Liberal leaning users get attacked. Remember, many paid Republicans here need to fill their 40 hour work week somehow. It's not like they can talk about the ISSUES or even have an honest discussion about political officials and candidates. I've escaped their nets so far because they haven't been smart enough to catch an intelligent fish like me.
