As the Youngest of the real countries we sort of had our choice and became the first Succesful Republic Democracy with A capaitalist monetary system and a Social conscience. We give more money to the world then ALL Other countries combined and have the greatest Allies on the earth. Perfect nope but we are heading there I would suggest you join us.

Yes, I am aware that there many countries gov't that work very well. I hope all leaders will learn to listen to the views of smaller nations. Some times older and wiser nations. I think USA gov't should "practice what you preach" in some cases.
Are citizens truly represented by their gov't? Should be your question.
No, most forms of gov't represents greed for money, power, and position.
