If my house was on fire then all of my family and pets would already on their way out so I would probably grab my quilt, my phone (which I never leave without and my handbag (which has my purse and drivers licence in it) All of these are fairly important things
you would use the quilt to keep warm while the Firemen stop the fire
My phone so I could ring emergency
and my handbag as most of my life is in my bag anyway.

NOTHING matters more than my daughter. While I am getting her out she would probably grab her purse and photo albums if they are within reach. I would only grab some photo albums if I had time AND I knew she was safe. The dog, of course would be following me. As for the cats, I know from experience that they would probably run to the basement and I wouldn't bother looking for them if there wasn't time. I would also grab my purse on the way out which also has my cell phone in it so I could call 911. I would also try to grab my keys if I can get to them so maybe I can get in my car and move it out of the way. As long as my daughter and I are alive (my bf can fend for himself) that is all that REALLY matters.

well depending on the ferocity of the fire,i would take the object with the biggest value, but then i suppose i would look a bit off a dick, running from a burning house carying my telly.

My animals of course...they are like my children. As far as an object, I guess it would be the family photo album...some of those pictures are one of a kind and can't be replaced.
