I loved the earlier smiling face , more so because it was gender - free. What say you ?

yeah i liked the smile it was cute, and yeah gender free. now i think everyone without a photo is a man until i read the name, even then there are those ambiguous names too so you're just lost. and now that you mention it, the new one does look snobbish.

Great question.
It reminds me of the yesteryears stamps with George the VI in profile on them, we always have monarchs faces on stamps, I feel strange at times licking the back of the queens head but as an Englishman this is something I am now trained to ignore
....I salute Yahoo for bringing back those heady days where the world loved monarchies

no i didnt like the earlier smiley face nor do i like the current grey face.i think all should change and create an avatar or download photos with the help of yahoo 360.different colourfull pictures look more better than the grey face. lol.

I agree totally, now, when i look at the new grey face, i think i am talking to a male and it is difficult to flirt to a female who looks like a male.

DOesn't matter to me much. I am simply interested in questions, and the answers...
may be to make it gender-specific, they've changed... earlier it was confusing as who was asking the qn.. Now at least you know the gender..
