and claim he was depressed when he killed himself
they need to read two books
"who killed Kurt Cobain"
and
"love and death"
these two books are filled with startling facts on Kurt's death.
and by the way Cobain was NOT an over ratted musician, he changed rock forever in the 90s. and what about the greatest live album of all time,"unplugged in new york"???

I think he killed himself :( sadly enough.
There is a lot of evidence that goes either way but it's all circumstantial.
eg. high amounts of heroin could have meant he was unable to control a firearm, but then again he had been a long time user and may have built up a high tolerance.
and el duce, the guy that said courtney love offered him a sum of money to off cobain, isn't the most reliable of witnesses.
Kurt Cobain had suffered from a chronic stomach condition along with bipolar for a long time, so i'm sorry to say i''m pretty sure he killed himself.
RIP. either way he lives on through his music.

Kurt Cobain was as overrated as they come. He killed himself because he was a hopeless burn-out who couldn't own up to being responsible enough to live his life well and he also possibly realized how badly his music sucked. People who idolize him are often completely unknowledgeable about music and just support his "anti-commercialism" excuse for making sloppy, very poorly written songs. He was no genius, he wasn't even good at guitar or singing, and he certainly wasn't any kind of visionary. There were bands and musicians LONG before Kurt who were doing the "down with the corporations" crap. Remember the whole hippy movement? Ugh.

Kurt Cobain is a legend he is my idol he is the king of grunge. I wear my Nirvana tshirt with pride. I made a project on him. Before doing it my theory was that he killed himself by being under the influence of drugs and drink and shot himself in the garage cos he didn't want to make a mess on the carpet. After finding out information , facts , pictures etc. I still believe the same theory. Kurt Killed Himself. Courtney could've been behind it but I stil think he did it himself. How many times have I answered this questino from other people oh my god lol! thanks

Technically he killed himself but he didn't get the help he desperately needed from his wife. Kurt was beyond depressed, his suicude note proves that. Suicides may be preventable with some serious help. Courtney Love was too much of a drugged out mess to help herself, let alone the father of her child. Then she made a career of being the "poor widow". I know there are many people out there who did all they could to save a loved one, a friend and still the person killed themselves and they grieve and feel a guilt they shouldn't carry. Courtney Love did nothing because she couldn't look past her her own damn self to see her husband's decline and eventual death.

An there is still now answer to this question. Why havnt the authoroties come up with a conclusion when now days not many people get away with anything. Or maybe he did kill himself and that b@tch from Hole did kill him.

Unfortunately Kurt committed suicide. He had major depression which is a serious psychiatric disorder. What a loss!

Can you imagine how dreadful it would have been to have listened to more new Nirvana songs for the last twelve years if he had lived. During their popularity, they produced some of the most nasty unmusical dirges that have ever scarred popular music, that by comparison make even the Brothers Gallagher seem positively gifted. Murder or suicide, the positive by-product of the departure was the cessation of their production of new unpleasant noises.

He killed himself. I will never forget that day either. I was devasted, what a waste of a good life! I think Courtney finally pushed him over the edge, they was so high on drugs all the time he just couldt deal with life. He said that he was sick of being in so much pain all the time and he couldt deal with it anymore. That was my baby doll. RIP Kurt, Courtney I will see you in hell *****!

Definately topped himself, just listen to his music and the fact he was a heroin addict. Add those to being with Courtney Love and the most sane of us would kill ourselves.
