As in a male SO that does most of the household chores, stays home with the kids and whatnot.

Are there any women who would actually want a guy that aspired to be a househubby?

Perhaps aspiring is not quite the correct word. Suppose the guy in question desired to take personal care of his wifey and children, much in the same way many women desire to stay with their children and such. Not merely as a matter of practicalities as in 'who makes more' but as a "desired career" as it were.

Just as an aside, if you did want to find a guy who would make a decent househubby, you would do best to look at guys in the military. The military teaches all their guys how to do laundry, fold, clean and make the bed.

I don't know if "aspired" is the right word, but yes, having a partner who is open to child care and home care is fine. There is no law that says vacuuming the floor is gender specific. Someone has to do it. If the domestic situation is such that the guy can do that and it will help the family, then why not? Men need to get over their silly macho need to pretend that they are somehow above doing the dishes. We are equals and should be working together however that shapes out.

My dad was a stay-at-home dad. My mom worked full time.

My dad didn't do all the cleaning, but my mom didn't either. They'd split up the work and do it together on the weekends.

And, as for your second edit, who says that women "desire" to stay at home?

Would I want a "househubby"? If I had kids, then yes. I wouldn't want him to do all the cleaning, either, because that is unfair. Earning money is not an eqivalent labor for cleaning the house AND taking care of kids.

YES! its a nice thing for women to have a break from doing things cooking and cleaning and shopping and takin care of kids paying bills its very redundent. Besides most women are on the that was the 50s this is now kinda thing my boyfriend andi split it up to make it even and belive me i love not having to do all those things all the time personaly i think its a turn on!

maybe not inspired to be a housebubby but sometimes the woman would earn more money or prefer work to the man and it makes more sense for him to stay at home with the children if they are both happy with the situation i don't see a problem.

It is not common but not unheard of..
It can work however it is often difficult for the woman
breadwinner to revert back to a submissive feminine
personality when in the presence of hubby...
