make an appointment to see the doctor he will arrange a midwife to visit you at home also he may take your blood and check bp,weight, height etc just depends how he does things mine does all that !!!. the midwife will take all your history and book you for a scan .
dating scan is normally between 6-12 weeks
abnormality scan is around 18-22 weeks
alot of hospitals wont tell you the gender i had to pay a for a scan at a baby bond clinic to find out, so check with the midwife what the hospitals policy is ( if you want to know )
congratulations

go see your g.p asap they will ask you too do a water sample that will take a week thats just a pregnacy test for there records.
then you will be booked in to see the midwife(which is noramlly a woman who has had NO kids LOL) you will see here every month till you get to 30 weeks then you will go every 2 weeks then at 35 weeks its every week.
right your scan you should get one at 12 weeks then 20 weeks you will be able to know the sex of the child by 20 weeks then if everything is fine you wont have another scan.
at 20 weeks you will have bloods taken and they will run tests.
they do an H I V test also test your iron levels.
good look with the pregnacy xxxxx dont think i left anything out

ive had two and i didnt need to book to see my midwife till i was 8 weeks...but make the appt now. depending on where you live you will have a 12 and 20 week scan, but if you are very unsure of your dates they can send you on a dating scan to check.
The 12 week scan will also check dates and check for downs syndrome and the 20 week scan will check bones organs etc also you can find out the sex of your baby if you want to know that is!! good luck x

go to yur docs and the doc will confir the pregnancy and also use your last date of your period to work out baby's due date and then send you away and you will recieve an appointment usually in the post for a scan at around three months.... you will go to regular monthly antenatal appointments till around 6 months where they will be fortnightly then by eight months down to weekly appointments to check the baby's position etc. you will have a second scan at 6 months as well where you will see your baby more clearly.... the nurses and midwives are almost always so friendly and settle any concerns you have!!!! i wish you all the best with your pregnancy

Make a doctors appointment and they will work out your due date, how far gone you are etc and book you in for your ante natal classes and first scan usually around 12-16 weeks unless there is are any complications or you are not sure how far gone you are, in that case they will book one right away.
Good luck xx

go see your doctor hunny - they will confirm the pregnancy and check your general health. then you get advice about what to eat/not eat and any suppliments that you should consider taking. first scan is usually around 12 weeks - your doctor will want to know the date of the first day of your last menstrual cycle in order to determine the baby's due date.
congratulations and stay safe ~x~

no they register the pregnancy and then you see a midwife every few weeks where she will feel your growing bump, take you blood/blood pressure etc, all routine checkups just to check mother and baby are fine and to monitor the baby's growth, then you will have your first scan at about 12 weeks (3 months)
